Where can I find my login details to access the Members Area?
You create your login details during registration. Your username is always your email address and you can create a password of your choice. To log in simply go to Tutorchrome’s home page, click “login” on the top right hand corner of the page and you will be brought to the login page. Enter your username and password. You will then be brought to your Member’s area.
What happens if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, don't worry. Click on "Members Area" on Tutorchrome's homepage and this will take you to the Members Area login page. You will see a "forgot password" link under where you enter your login details. Click on "forgot password" and an email will be sent to your email address in order to reset your password.
Where and when is the course held?
All our courses are delivered via live, interactive webinars at scheduled times, twice weekly. You will receive email reminders prior to the live lesson and times will be in your local time. You can join the live webinars only at the scheduled times. You can join via links in the reminder emails or via your course Member area. Some of our courses are on-demand. This means you can start and complete your course at your own pace.
What if I miss a Webinar? Will I be able to catch up?
That’s no problem. We record every live Webinar and upload them to the Members Area. You will have unlimited access to these recordings for as long as you’re subscribed or for the duration of your free trial.
Which evenings are the live webinars on?
All our foundation courses run twice weekly at 7pm UK time for 4 weeks on Mondays and Wednesdays. As we have students from all over the globe, we send you email reminders in your local time to avoid confusion. Please double check the time zone listed when you register and you can amend it if needed.
What is the course duration?
Our Live foundation courses are 8 x 1 hour in duration. There is a bonus Q+A session at the end of every live lesson lasting for approx. 15-20 mins. Students really enjoy the bonus Q+A sessions. Our Advanced courses run for 12 weeks and will be 24 hours in duration. They are comprised of both a theory and practical element.
What if I miss the lecture? Will I be able to catch up?
That's no problem. We also record each lecture as we broadcast them. We make these videos available to you within 24 hours of each lecture concluding, and you will have unlimited access to the videos for up to 12 days after the entire course has been completed.
Are there assignments?
Yes, an assignment will be uploaded every week in order to test your knowledge. The weekly assignments are optional and completion is not compulsory in order to obtain your diploma. They are in the format of multiple choice questions. Upon course completion, a final assignment will be made available in the Members area. If you wish to complete the final assignment and receive an E-diploma there will be a €39.95 administration charge. There is no charge for Shaw Academy members. There will also be an option to purchase a hardcopy diploma for €49.95.
Are the courses accredited?
All courses at Shaw Academy are independently accredited by an internationally recognized body for CPD purposes. Courses are also accredited by the CPD Certification Service, which is an independent body that ensures qualifications are in line with the most current professional standards.
Video Access Problem?
Some users have trouble streaming live webinars and/or issues viewing lesson recordings. This may be a simple issue with your web browser. Try loading the video on different web browsers, for example, Chrome/ Firefox/ Safari etc. If you still are having issues this may be down to firewall blocking you. Try downloading a newer version of your preferred web browser. This should help to resolve the issue. If you continue to experience problems, please send an email to support@tutorchrome.com and our support staff will do their best to assist you.
How do I participate in the live webinars and access the recordings?
You can join the live webinars using any device as long as you have internet connection. You will receive email reminders prior to the live webinar. These emails will contain links to join the live webinar or you can access the live webinars via the links in the Members Area for your course. If you can’t attend a live webinar don’t worry. All live lessons are recorded and will be available to view in your Members area 24 hours after the live lesson. You will have access to course recordings for as long as you are on a free trial with Tutorchrome or are a Tutorchrome member.
What is the duration of a webinar
Webinars will last approximately 1 hour plus bonus 15-20 mins Q+A session.
How do I access the recordings?
All recordings are posted to your Members area 24 hours after the live lesson has occurred. To access recordings simply click on “login” on the upper right hand side of Shaw Academy’s home page, enter your user name (your email address) and password. You will then access your Member’s Area and can view recordings.
How long will I have access to the recordings?
You will have access to the recordings for as long as you are subscribed as a member with Tutorchrome or for as long as you are on a free trial.
Can I download the recordings?
Lesson recordings are only available to stream with an internet connection and you will not have the option to download recordings.
Is there a restriction on how many times I view recordings?
Absolutely not. You can watch the recordings as many times as you like whilst you have access to them.
What do I need to watch the recordings?
You can watch recordings on any device that you possess such as computer, laptop, IPad etc. as long as you have an internet connection. You will also need speakers or earphones in order to hear the audio.
Who do I contact with course questions?
During the live webinars, you can ask questions and receive answers in real time. If you do have any outstanding questions after the webinar has finished you can simply email them to support@tutorchrome.com. We remain available as a point of support and assistance even after the live webinars have concluded.
Can I skip the live webinars and just watch the recordings?
We strongly recommend that you try to attend live webinars as student feedback is that they are fun, engaging and more enjoyable than watching recordings. You are also far more likely to complete the course as you will be sticking to a schedule. However, if you can’t attend live, of course watching the recordings is the next best thing.
